Call for participation

This call is open to academic and research staff affiliated to CARA and by extension to Universities beyond CARA-affiliated institutions. While CARA members remain central to the initiative, the Forum also welcomes contributions from educators, researchers, and practitioners from other institutions and regions whose work aligns with the thematic focus of the Forum.

Presentations:

• Each speaker will be allocated 15–20 minutes presentation time followed by 5–10 minutes discussion period.

• Both physical & online presentations are accepted to maximize continental and international participation.

All proposals must include:

• A written abstract describing the content and form of the contribution (Maximum 300-words)

• A written short biography (100–150 words) including the applicant’s institutional affiliation, current Email address and a brief statement of their role or engagement in film/media education

• Links to short online audiovisual materials forming part of the contribution should also be included.
