GEECT’s mission is to create an environment that facilitates inter-institutional collaboration by connecting people to positively impact communities of learners, teachers, researchers and staff in the film and media sector to broader society. GEECT pays particular attention to respecting the human rights values ratified by the council of Europe in its conventions and charters. GEECT’s foundational values include academic and artistic freedom that is fostered through inclusion, diversity, empathy and humanity.
